| The dental practice at 30 Beaumont Street was established in 1933. It was the first practice in Oxford to employ an oral hygienist.
There are three dentists working at the practice and they share the reception. All three dentists attend regular courses and seminars to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and materials. Dr Charl du Toit uses white (composite) fillings. He does crowns and bridges, dental implants, dentures, teeth whitening and aesthetic work.
Dr du Toit is a member of the British Society of Occlusal studies and has a special interest in the harmony between the fit of the teeth, the jaw joints and the muscles that control chewing. An imbalance between two of these three components may cause headaches, teeth to break and/or muscle pain. This is relatively easy to treat after a proper diagnoses has been made. |
